Some people love emoji’s and others don’t. I personally think they are so cute, so if you like them try making these in different colors and expressions. Have them around your home or office  to make you smile.

Paper sizes:

12” x 12” card stock your choice in color

A piece of matching card stock cut 4” x 6”.

Scraps of basic black, whisper white and real red.

Instructions:

  1. With piece of card stock that is 12” x 12” score it at 4” and 8” turn and repeat. On two opposite sides make a 1” mark at 6”.

  2. Now fold all score lines and fold in the left flap, take the horizontal  fold and match it to the vertical fold. Be sure to crease the inner diagonal section, and repeat for all four sides. Now on the sides that you made the one inch score, fold that in. From the end of that line to each corner crease, {it will look like the side of a milk carton}. Repeat for the other side and fold all flaps inward to form the box.

  3. With the second piece of matching card stock, (cut as above), score it at 4” and 4 1/2”. Fold, and hen adhere the 2 1/2” side to the back of the box with tear and tape. Add velcro dots to the inside cover and front of the box to keep the flap closed.

  4. For decorating the front I cut out 2 – 1” circles in whisper white and 2 – 1/2” circles in basic black. I adhered them together and then onto the front flap. Then add white flecks to his eyes and with you black marker draw in the eye brows. I hand cute a black mouth, red tongue and his white teeth. Adhere them together and then onto the front flap. I also cut some strips of black and adhered it on top. 

ENJOY!

Remember to be creative and come up with your own emoji faces. Even if they are happy, sad angry and more. Have your kids try this out to and see what they come up with.

Stampin’ Blends Holder

Instructions:

  1. With your card stock. as cut above, put it in your trimmer with the short side ar the top and score at 1/2”. Turn to the opposite side and score at 1/2”. Next with the long side at the top score at 5” and 5 1/2”.

  2. On each long side cut in the two middle score lines to the first score line. Add tear and tape to the outside of the little   tabs and to the inside of the long strip on the right and on both sides. Remove the backing and adhere the little tab to the side with no tape and then fold over the side that does.

  3. Lastly put in the marker and label the front with a label maker.

Watermelon Book

Instructions:

  1. With 12” x 12” piece of card stock  score at 2”, 6”, and 10”.  Turn and score at 3”, 6”, and 9”, then fold all score lines.
  2. Now fold in the two 2” folds and cut up the center line to the 9” score. On the right side fold up the first score line. Down the second and repeat till you get to the end. This forms your book.
  3. In the back of some of the pages that are not stuck together adhere them together with tear and tape. Also add tear and tape or glue to the pockets that are open. Adhere 20” of the polka dot ribbon around the book and tie a bow, cut off excess ribbon.
  4. For the front cut one piece of whisper white card stock 2 3/4” x 3 3/4” and adhere the front of the book. Now cut a piece of melon mambo 2 1/2” x 3 1/2” and adhere over the white card stock. Cut out 4 mini hearts and cut in half, glue these onto the front of the book.
  5. Lastly if you wish punch out 1 garden green 2 1/2” circle punch. 1 whisper white 2” circle  and 1 melon mambo 1 1/2” circle. Glue them all together, cut in half and then add seeds with the black marker. Adhere to the front of the book. You can also decorate the inside of the book if you wish.

Rose Bud Candy Holder

Instructions:

  1. With the retired flower thinlit die set cut out a melon mambo of the largest die, then do the same with the next size in. Lastly cut out a garden green scallop from the largest scallop die.

  2. With each color of ink that matches  the card stock ink up all the edges with a sponge dauber. Score each side of the largest flower 1 3/4” on each side. With the other size score each side at 1 1/2” and fold all score lines. Cut up two opposite sides and then assemble as you would a regular box.

  3. With your bone folder curl each petal outward to form the flower

  4. To assemble the flower put down the green scallop and adhere the doily to it. Then adhere the largest flower to the doily with tear and tape. And lastly adhere the smaller flower inside that one with tear and tape.

Large Decor Basket

This basket was originally designed for spring time but can be edited for ant season, holiday or event. Have fun being creative.

3 sheets of 12” x 12” designer series paper

12” x 1” strip of card stock or two if you use DSP.

                                                  Materials needed:

Designer series paper of your choice 3 different designs.

Instructions:

  1. With the 12” x 12” card stock, put it in the trimmer and score it at 4” and 8”. Then turn and repeat scores, fold all score lines. Now cut up the score lines on opposite sides to the first score line.  With tear and tape adhere each side, bringing up the two side flaps, about half way. Adhere them together and then adhere the middle flap to them.

  2. Cut one pieces of card stock or two designer series paper 12” x 1”. {If you used DSP adhere these two pieces together}. With your bone folder curl the card stock or DSP to form a handle and adhere it to the inside of the basket with tear and tape.

  3. Now for the sides of the basket I took two different colors and designs of DSP and cut them into 1” x 12” stripes. Then I wove them together to make one big square. Adhere it to the side of the basket and then cut off all the excess paper. Repeat for the opposite side.

  4. Lastly punch out 2- 1 3/4” scalloped circles and 1- 1 3/8” scalloped circles. Cut in on each scalloped notch about 1/2” on all three citcles and adhere together. Add a glitter dot to the center and adhere it to the basket. Repeat for the other side and you are done.

Small Window Box

This small window box is easy to make and can be used to hold a few cookies, candy, jewelry or even a small scarf.

Paper sizes:

Piece of window sheet cut 3 1/4” x 3 1/4”

Card stockyou choice in color cut 11” x 6 1/2”

Designer series paper cut 3 1/4” x 3 1/4”

Instructions:

  1. With the piece of card stock as cut as above put it in your trimmer with the short side at the top and score at 1 1/2” and 5”. Turn your paper so the long side is at the top and score it at 1 1/2”, 5”, 6 1/2” and 10”. With the 1” score at the top score in one inch from the left and right sides and cut that 1” section off.
  2. Cut in all score lines on both long sides to the first score line. Fold all score lines, turn your card stock over and add the piece of designer series paper as cut above with snail. 
  3. Now with your big shot and the square framlits cut out a square with them. (If you do not have a big shot you can use you trimmer). Adhere the piece of window sheet to the inside of the boxes window you just cut. 
  4. Lastly assemble your box with tear and tape and decorate the top if you wish.

Magic Wallet

Magic wallets are great for those of all ages. A little bit more complicated to make but all ages can learn to make them.

Instructions:

  1. Cut two pieces of chipboard 4” x 3”. Glue them to the wrong side of the designer series paper and let dry. Trim the corners and then tape or glue over all 4 edges and let dry.
  2. Now cut 4 pieces of ribbon 8” long. With the two pieces you covered with DSP, have them facing towards you. On one side lay the ribbon straight across on both sides and the other criss cross them as picture shows. 

3. Now with the straight pieces curl the  ends under the cardboard and tape

   down. Bring the other two ends under the criss across piece. Now with the criss

   cross piece, bring the outer ends underand tape down. Then tape the other side

   under to the piece where the ribbon iS  Straight. 

4. Adhere 2 pieces of designer series paper over the ends you just taped. Then just

   decorate and you are done.

Now put a business card under one side of the ribbons. Close the wallet and open it from the other side. The card has changed ribbon sides.

Fold Flat Gift Bag

This gift bag is great because you can make a bunch of them and store them for later as needed.

Paper sizes:

2 pieces of designer series paper 12” x 12”

2 pieces of ribbon cut 13”

2 pieces of whisper card stock cut 7 7/8” x 1 1/2”.

Instructions:

  1. With both pieces of designer series paper, place them on the score board or in your trimmer. With the design facing you score at 1 1/2” but only 3/4 of the way down or to the 7 1/2” mark. Now score at 3” through both pieces and 11” through both pieces all the way down. Turn your paper so the bottom is to your right and score both pieces at 3”. Next take one sheet out and score at 4 1/2” all the way down. Take out of the trimmer and add the other piece with the bottom at your right and score at 4 1/2” but only on the 1” section and the 1  1/2” section to the 3” score line.
  2. With both pieces together and the bottom down, cut up the 1” section and cut off. Then cut up the other score line to the first score line and wedge out.
  3. With your bone folder and a ruler, take the two pieces of paper and make sure they are even. On the right there should be a rectangle about 3/4” down, make a score a line from the top center line, to the side, forming an up side down V, and folding the score lines.
  4. Now add tear and tape to the 1” score line on both pieces. {Be sure it’s on the top part of the bag not the inside}.
  5. With the outsides facing down and the flat side towards you, tape them both together with the tear and tape.
  6. For the handles measure 2” in from each inner score line and add a small piece of tear and tape. Add the ribbon ends to each and secure with the 7 7/8” x 1 1/2” piece of card stock. 

7. Now fold over the left side and secure the opposite side to the tear and tape.

8. Turn the bag up side down and fold in one large side, fold over the two small

   flaps and secure with tear and tape.  Then adhere down the last flap with

   tear and tape and cut off anything that hangs over.

9. Lastly stand the bag up and fold all  score lines in to have it fold flat.
