Glue dots, snail, fast fuse, oh my!

Have you ever wonder which adhesive to use for which project. We’ll I am going to help you out and tell you which works best on what.

SNAIL ADHESIVE: Snail is a double sided adhesive that is acid free. Therefore it is great for scrapbooking because it won’t ruin your photos. It is also great for card making and adhering light weight papers and card stock.

TEAR AND TAPE: Tear and tape bonds instantly like fast fuse and can be torn easily. It is in my opinion that it is the same strength as fast fuse, and therefore is awesome for box and bag making.

GLUE DOTS: Glue dots are great for adhering buttons, pearls, ribbon and little embellishments. It is easiest to add the item to the dot and then to your paper instead of taking the glue dot off and adhering it the the item then to paper.

TOMBO MULTIPURPOSE GLUE: Tombo is used to adhere glitter, paper, card stock and more. It dries quickly and dries clear.

DIMENSIONALS: Dimensionals are used to prop up your paper and give it dimension.  These are great for card making and scrapbooking, and I love them for putting embellishments on boxes and bags. We also now have mini dimentionals as well.

FINE TIP GLUE PEN: This glue pen is new to Stampin’Up! and is great for adhering small cut outs, embellishments and more to cards and scrapbooks.

FOAM ADHESIVE STRIPS: These thin long strips are a great idea for making shaker cards.  It is more cost effective to use these thin strips then the more thicker ones and it saves time too.

Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets: Easily adhere shapes you cut with the big shot and dies. 12 sheets in each pack 6” x 12”

Hope this helps.
