Product Review: Watercolor Pencils

Watercolor Pencils

These new watercolor pencils are so great, they are light weigh, easy to sharpen and they bring out the creativity in everyone. What is also nice about them is they coordinate with all our ink and paper colors and the names are on each pencil. There are many different techniques you can do with them and on February 25th I will be teaching a class on them.

The Stampin’ Up! description is as follows:
High-quality, smooth color pencils. Perfect for watercoloring stamped images. Use with Aqua Painters, Blender Pens, or alone.
* 13 pencils in Stampin’ Up! colors: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
* Acid free
Lignin free

Hope this helps

Tip: Card Stock Scraps

Card stock scraps or paper scraps are great to keep so that when you need a small piece you don’t have to  waiste your larger pieces. However we are always asking “how do I store my scraps”? And here is the solution I use that may help you too.  All my card stock are in wooden boxes from Stmp n storage and each color has a slot. Well what I do with my scraps is put them in these Avery Job Ticket Holders, Heavy Gauge Vinyl, 9 x 12 Inches, and then put it in each color slot. That way when I am only looking for a small piece the ticket holders are right there A [Read more…]

Match Book Ghirardelli Holder

Make this cute ghirardelli holder to give to someone this winter. And don’t forget giving to others brings joy to them and yourself.

Product List

1. Cut a piece of card stock that measures 7 3/8″ x 2 3/4″ and then score with the long side at the top at 3″, 3 1/2″ & 6 3/4″. Now cut a second piece of card stock 5 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ and then score with the long side at the top at 2 1/4″, 2 1/2″, 2 3/4″, 5″, 5 1/4″, & 5 1/2″. Fold all score lines and then on the second piece which is the insert fold both sides like an M and adhere one end to the other.
2. Now take that piece and put it inside the matchbook all the way to the bottom and staple it with the mini stapler.
3. To decorate it I took a small piece of designer series paper adhered it to the inside and outside of the matchbook and then stamped the snowflakes for the inside and the snowman for the outside. A very quick and easy gift.
Now that you have learned how to make these make lots and go out and give them to others as random acts of kindness. Remember always bring Joy to others and visit

How to Cleaning Your Clear Blocks

How to Cleaning Your Clear Blocks.

I don’t know about you but my clear blocks get so dirty so here is how I clean mine.

1. If you are just using photo polymer stamps then you can just run your blocks under warm water and dry them with a cloth.
2. If.your stamps are even dirtier you can use hand sanatizer to clean them and then rinse with water and dry.
3. But if you are like I am and add adhesive to your stamps, then you know that you have to clean your blocks all the time. What I do is us stazon cleaner to get all the junk off and then whip them with a damp paper towel and then dry them off.
Hope this helps in keeping your blocks clean.
Always remember bring joy through sending others hand stamped cards.
