Pocket Card

image

Fishy, fishy in the pond, swimming freely on and on. This cute little pocket card would be great to give to just about anyone you love.

Product List

Instructions:
1. Cut piece of card stock your choice in color 9″ x 5 1/2″ and score it at 4 1/4″ and 8 1/2″. Next measure up the side to 3″ from the bottom of the card, and mark it. Cut from that mark up to the middle score line, this forms your base. Cut two pieces of designer series paper 5 1/4″ x 4″ and adhere one piece to the inside of the card. The other piece has to be cut down to fit the outside of the card just like we cut the base piece. Do this and then adhere it to the front of the card.
Next cut a piece of card stock that measures 4″ x 5″ and a piece of designer series paper that measures 3 3/4″ x 4 3/4″. Adhere these two pieces together and add a stamped fish or words to the card from the sea shore stamp set.
Fold the base of the cards and adhere the 1/2″ tab with tear and tape as well as the bottom portion of the card. Stamp a fish or sentiment on cards stock cut it out and adhere it to the front of the card with dimensionals. Then just put your card to the pocket.

ENJOY!

Candy Land Card

image

Do you remember playing candy land as a kid (I do!) or maybe you play with you children now? Try making this cute card for your kids or for a child in your life.

Product List

Instructions:
1. Cute a piece of real red card stock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ and score in half at 4 1/4″ to form the base of the card. Cut two pieces of whisper white card stock 5 1/4″ x 4″ and adhere one of them to the inside of the card. With the other piece, sponge with a sponge dauber and marina mist ink a little over half of the card stock. Be sure to use circular motions and then finish the other half with garden green ink. Adhere this piece of card stock to the card base we made earlier and set aside.
2. Next stamp the gingerbread from Cookie cutter Christmas in
color of your choice and punch it out with the cookie cutter
builder punch and set aside. Now cut out 7 pieces of card stock
in rainbow colors 1/2″ x 3/4″ and set aside. Die cut one of the
houses from the home sweet home thinlits out of crumb cake
card stock. Then cut off the tabs, the bottom, as well as the side
of the house, be sure to leave only the house shape. Also cut
out the door frame, and window, I used red foil paper for the
door frame. Add the door frame and draw a handle on the door
and add the window to the top. Next stamp from the sweet
home stamp set, the banner, the roof, two candy cane poles and
4 of the peppermint candies. I cut everything out but punch out
the candies with the 3/4″ circle punch. Assemble the house as
shown on my card above.
3. Add the house to the card, then add the candy land path,
tucking the last one under the house. Next add the gingerbread
man to the tiles with dimensionals and lastly add the banner
and candy to the top, adding the words Candy Land to
banner,
ENJOY!
Now go and have fun and play the game with your kids and grand kids and don’t forget to check out my website at www.bjstampingtreasures.stampinup.net for all these great products.
