Get Better Quick Kit

Do you hate being sick? Well everyone does, so why not cheer them up by making them this get better quick kit.

Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of card stock 4 1/2″ x 10 1/4″ and then score with the long side at the top at 1/2″, 1 3/8″, 3 3/4″, & 4 5/8″. Fold all score lines and set aside
2. Now cut a piece of card stock that measures 3″ x 4 1/2″ and score it the long way at 1/2″ & 11/4″. Fold all score lines and set aside. Cut a pieces of card stock that measures 2″ x 4 1/2″ then score a 1/2″ on both sides and set aside.
3. Now cut 4 pieces of DSP, 2 that measure 4″ x 5 3/8″, 1 that measures 2 7/8″ x
3 1/8″, and 1 that measures 1 7/ 8″ x 3 3/8″. Add two to the front and back of
the larger piece and the others to the two smaller pieces.
4. Put tear and tape on the 1/2″ flap of the larger piece, add tissues and adhere
down the flap. With the second piece we cut, put tear and tape on the 1/2″
section and on the bottom inner section. Adhere this piece over the first
piece we did lining up the bottom of that piece with the bottom of the tissue
section. Then wrap the top over a package of the halls cough drops,
securing the tape.
5. Now put tear and tape on the two 1/2″ sections of the last piece put a soup
pack in the middle and adhere this to the back side of the kit.
6. Lastly stamp a saying of your choice and punch out with the word window punch and adhere them to the front top of the kit. Also stamp the lemon 3 times from the apple of my eye stamp set in color of your choice. Cut it out and then in half adhere 4 of these to the front of the box with dimensionals and two to the back with SNAIL. Add wink of Stella clear to the lemons to give them a bit of glimmer.

Long And Skinny Treat Holder

This skinny long treat holder can be used to hold small candy bars, twizzler’s and other candies. Try making one for a gift or for a just cause gift.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of card stock, color of your choice 10″ x 6″ and then score it with the short side at the top at 1/2″, 3″, & 5 1/2″. Turn and score at 1 1/2″ & 8 1/2″, then fold all sore lines. If you wish you can stamp a design on your card stock with a stamp of your choice, I used timeless textures.
2. Next cut off all fore 1/2″ corners to first score line, now on one side but
both sections top and bottom cut off the 3″ section to the first score line.
Now angle both the top and bottom flaps and the two 1/2″ sections. Add
sticky strip to the bottom flap and one of the 1/2″ flaps.
3. With the oval framelits collection and the second oval in from the smallest,
run this through your big shot placing the die on the section with the flaps
about half way down. When done trim the 1/2″ sections so they don’t show
through your window. Add a piece of window sheet with fast fuse that
measures 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″. And then just remove backing from tape and
assemble the treat holder.
4. Add embellishments of your choice to the front and on the back you can
punch a notch and add Velcro to the if you wish.

Buggy Gift Card Holder

Punch buggy white! Do you remember doing that as a kid when you were younger? I loved doing it except when my sister hurt me by punching me in the arm or leg. Anyway here is a cute gift card holder you can give to a guy or gal.

Instructions:

  1. With a piece of card stock your choice in color, cut it to measure 11″ x 4 1/4″. Then score it at 2 3/4″ & 5 1/2″, fold in half and then the 2 3/4″ score fold that inward to form a flap. With the flap folded, in the crease punch the word window punch half way in. Then punch a little to the left and right half way in to form the card holder. Now open up that flap and add tear n tape to the inside end flap and adhere down.
    2.  Now cut the following-pieces of card stock and DSP. 1 piece of matching
    card stock cut 3 1/4″ x 3 1/2″, a piece of whisper white card stock cut 3
    1/2″ x 3 3/4″. And one piece of DSP that measures 3″ x 3 1/4″and layer
    the DSP on the coordinating card stock, then that one on the whisper
    white card stock. Adhere half of that piece to the flap where you made
    the slot. This covers up your gift card.
    3.  Next on a piece of whisper white card stock stamp the beetle buggy in
    black ink from the beautiful ride stamp set and cut it out. Adhere it to the
    middle of the card and add sequins to the car and two sides.

Ghirardelli Box For a gift for just about anyone

This cute little ghirardelli box is easy to make and can be given away to just about anyone.

Instructions:
Cut a piece of card stock that measures 4 1/4″ x 6 3/4″ @and then score it the long way at 3/4″, 1 3/4, 3 3/4″, 4 3/4″. Then turn and score at 1″ on each side, and fold all score Lines
2. Cut all score lines on each long side to the first score line and then from
the short side that has 2 3/4″ sections cut off the two side flaps to second
score line. Put tear and tape on the two small flaps on the gold side and on
the two front flaps on the inside. Pull off paper backing and assemble the
box, putting in the bottom flap then the back section and then adhere
down the front.
3. Put a piece velcro or a magnet to close the box and then decorate the front
with DSP or embellishments.

LEGO Boxes

Kids love to play with lego’s and so do adults sometime. But could you see the look on a child’s eye’s when they open up a present that was inside this adorable LEGO box.

Instructions:
With a piece of bright colored card stock of your choice cut it 8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and then score each side at 1/2″ and 3″. Fold all score lines and then on two opposite sides cut up each score line to the second score line. Now on the second score line cut off that 1/2″ tab on each side and then on the 2 1/2″section cut off that 1/2″ tab on both sides. Notch out the outer 2 1/2″tab on the inside and repeat for the opposite side. Put tear and tape on the four outer 2 1/2″ tabs flip over and add tear and tape to the four 1/2″ tabs. Assemble the bad putting in the four outer tabs and then folding in the 1/2″ tabs and set aside.
2. Now with another piece of coordinating card stock, cut It 10 1/2″ x 2 5/8″
and then score it at 1/2″, 3″, 5 1/2″, & 8″. Fold all score lines and then
wrap it around the other box you just made securing it at the bottom of
the box with tear and tape.
3. Lastly punch out 40 3/4″ circles and adhere ten of them together with SNAIL and repeat 3 more times. Add these with a glue dot to the top of the box to look like a LEGO.

Carrot Candy Treat

Bugs bunny would be proud to eat these carrots, so why not make some of these cute and yummy carrots that are easy to make.

Instructions:
Fill polka dot cellophane bags with candy (I used sixlets),
twist top and tie off with a rubber band.
2. Cut green ribbon of all different kinds about 7″ long and tie them all the way around the rubber band, doing each one separately. With another piece of green patterned ribbon cut off about 12″ off it and tie it around all the other ribbons so they stand up and tie a bow.

BJ Stamping Treasures Classes and their Descriptions for March and April 2016

Card Making Class: April 2nd 2016

Please join us for our monthly card making class where you will make 5 awesome cards, learn new techniques and have fun too. This class is designed for both beginners and advanced card makers and you do not have to have taken any of our other classes with me to attend this one. This class is held in my home and if it is your first class with me it is free. Class is four hours but may not take that long, and the cost is $20.00. You only need to bring a tape runner, payment and a smile. Classes are held on Saturdays and payment and your reservation are due by that Thursday before class. Scrapbooking Crop: March 19th 2016

Please join us for our monthly scrap booking crop, where you bring all your scrapbooking projects you have been working on or want to work on and we get together and get lots done. This crop includes the space to work, snacks, a make and take and lots of fun. It is four hours but you can stay as long as you wish. Class is open to all ages 8 and up, and would be great for a mother and daughter or even you and your grandchild. The crop is $15.00 and you need to pay and register 2 days prior. Technique Class: March 23rd 2016

Join us for our monthly technique class that is meant to teach you different techniques that you can use in your card making or crafting. We are working our way through the alphabet, learning new techniques, but you do not have to have started from the beginning. You can start any where you wish, take one class or all of them. Stamp a Stack: April 30th 2016

Stamp a stack is a new class for us, and the idea of stamp a stack is that you go home with a stack of cards ready to mail out. Just bring your tape runner,and a smile and have fun. Happy St. Patrick’s Day Card

Wish your loved ones a happy st. Patrick’s day with this St.Patrick’s day card even your kids can help make. This handmade card is easy to make and takes hardly no time at all.

Instructions:
With either whisper white or garden green card stock cut it in half at 5 1/2″ and score it at 4 1/4″. Fold in half to form the base of the card and then cut a piece of black glimmer paper 5 1/4″ x 4″. Adhere that piece to the base of the card and then:
For the green base card, punch out 4 sweetheart punches from garden great card stock and adhere to the card. Next punch out 4 hearts from the itty bitty accents pack, out of gold card stock and adhere to the middle of the 4 hearts you just added. Cut a stem from garden green card stock and adhere to the clover. Lastly add another small gold heart to the inside and stamp lucky from project life remember this stamp set.
3. For the card with the white card base cut and adhere the same black
glimmer paper as in the first card and then cut a piece of garden green that
measures 3 3/4″x 5″ and adhere over the black glimmer paper. Next cut a
piece of whisper white card stock that measures 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ and adhere
that to the green one. Put a piece of garden green through the big shot with
the embossing folder of your choice an then punch out four hearts from the
sweetheart punch and adhere to the center. Take the heart from the itty
bitty accents punches and punch out four hearts from green glitter paper
and adhere to the last four. Lastly draw a stem on with a garden green
marker and stamp lucky from project life remember this stamp set inside
the card.
