I worked really hard the past two days and finally finished it. This beautiful lantern I learned to make from a wonderful lady in the UK Lea Denton. Thank you, Lea was a tough project but cam out awesome.

Fireplace Card



Materials needed:

Cherry cobbler cut 8 1/2″x 5 1/2″

Real red card stock cut 5 1/4″ x 4″

Brick embossing folder

Big shot

Wood grain stamp

Retired petal punch, but you can use the wing from the

   bird punch.

2 Whisper white card stock cut 5 1/4″ x 4″

Real red, daffodil delight, black, pumpkin pie, soft.   

     suede, and garden green markers.

Scraps of whit card stock

Festive fireplace stamp set and dies



Ink pads in cherry cobbler, chocolate chip. Stazon and old olive



Sponge daubers


Red alcohol marker


Fold cherry cobbler card stock in half to form the base of the card. Then take the piece of real red card stock and run it through the big shot with the brick embossing folder. Take out and cut out a square at the bottom middle to form the fire place. Color in the square on the cherry cobbler where the opening would be. Add cherry cobbler ink with a sponge dauber over the real red brick. Then add it o the base of the card.

2. On a piece of whisper white stamp the wood grain Stamp with chocolate    chip. Color in with soft suede and cut one piece that measures 4 1/4″ x 1  1/4″ and 2 pieces that measures 4/8″ x 2″. Add the big one to the top of thecard with dimensionals and criss cross the other two on the bottom of the black part you colored in.

3. Punch out three petals or wings from whisper white and color them in realred. Pumpkin pie, and daffodil delight, like I did and add to the card ove    the logs with snail.

4. On a piece of whisper white stamp the evergreen from the festive fireplace stamp set in old olive. Color it in garden green and run through the big shot with the coordinating framelits. Adhere to the top wood grain piece, then color three pearls in with the red alcohol maker and adhere to the evergreen.

5. Stamp three stockings from the stamp set and color in red and green, adhere them right under the wood grain using dimensionals. Lastly add a piece of whisper white card stock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere it to the inside of the card.
