Window Candy or Teas Light Box

Materials needed:

Daffodil delight card stock cut 11 1/2″ x 6 1/4″

Flowered & yellow or yellow stripped DSP

Trimmer

Score board

Sticky strip

Window sheets

Butterfly basics stamp set

Big shot

Butterfly framelets

Ink pads in blackberry bliss, marina mist, rose red, & pear pizzazz

2 1/2 scalloped square punch

Clear bock

Glue dots

 Bone folder

Instructions:

1. With the piece of daffodil delight card stock, score with short side at the top at 3/4″ and 3 3/4″. Then turn and score at 1/2″. 3 1/4″, 6″, and 8 3/4″.

2. Fold all score lines folding the 3/4″ strip forward and the 3 3/4″ strip back. Cut off the two ends of the 1/2″ strip, only leaving the middle tab. Then cut up the 3/4″ side only to the first score line. After that turn it around and cut up to the 3 3/4″ score line on all three lines.

3. Cut 4 pieces of flower DSP that measure 2 1/2″ x 2 3/4″, then cut I pieces of yellow DSP or yellow striped DSP 11″ x 3/4″. Adhere the yellow or yellow strip to the top 3/4″ section of the yellow card stock and the 4 flowered DSP to the second section from the bottom.  Make sure the yellow flap is forward and the flower DSP is applied right under that.

4. Take the 2 1/2″ scalloped square punch and slip the card stock in with the 3/4″ flap folded over. Put punch all the way in and position in the middle of each flowered DSP. Punch and repeat 4 times. Cut 4 pieces of window sheets 2″ x 2 1/2″ and adhere to the inner side of the box over the hole you just punched.

5. Assemble box by putting sticky strip on the 1/2″ end and folding over the box. Sticky strip bottom ends down and put dimensionals on the top flap where you put the yellow DSP, to make it look like an awning.

Stamp the butterfly from butterfly basic stamp set in each of the colored ink pad listed above. Cut out with your big shot and the coordinating butterfly framelets. Take butterflies and curl them with the bone folder, then attach them to the box right near the windows.

Fill a clear bag with candy, tie with a ribbon and place in the box. The other idea I had was that you could put a tea light in here as well.

ENJOY!

Large Purse or Box

Materials needed:

Card stock 12″x12″

Ribbon

Sticky strip

Score board

DSP

Velcro

Instructions:

1. Put 12×12 sheet of card stock on the score board and make a mark at the 6″ mark. Then fold in both sides to the middle. Put back in the score board and score at 5″ and 7″, then open those folded lines and fold on those score lines you just made. But only on the outer score lines, not in the middle. Open up the card stock and on the lines you jus folded push out on that line and in on the middle. Fold down that diagonal line and score well. Repeat this on all four sides, then open up the card stock and put adhesive on all four sides that you have folded to the center. Refold those sides down so they are stuck down.

2. For the box you put adhesive on the four inner triangles and fold up your box. But for the bag you want to do all the scoring the same but before you put any adhesive on it pinch together the inner section and fold half way down to make a pleat. Add adhesive to all four corners and fold in sides. Then fold up the purse the other way.

3. You can decorate the bag any way you want, I cut DSP 11 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ and adhered to to the box and the bag. For the bag I cut a strip of paper 1 1/2″x 3″ adhered one side to the purse and velcroed it to the other side. I also put holes in the top and added ribbon for handles, for both the box and the bag. These are great to give as gifts. ENJOY!
