Hello Spring Card

Have you been waiting and waiting for spring? Well here is a great card for you to send to someone else who is missing spring.


Materials needed:
Springtime hello Stamp set
Gumball green and melon mambo markers
Stazon ink pad
Whisper white card stock
Melon mambo card stock
Whisper white ribbon
Scalloped tag punch

Cut melon mambo 5.5 x 8.5
Score each end at 2 1/8
Fold score lines
On the 5.5 sides mark the middle on each end
Insert scallop tag punch lining up the mark in the middle
Punch the tag and repeat on the other side.
On both sides trim off the excess from the 2 sides do the tag, so that all that is left is the tag.
Cut a piece of whisper white that measures 4×5.25
Adhere to center of card and stamp the bee and hello spring in stazon ink.
Cut 2 pieces of whisper white card stock 525×1″
With gumball green and melon mambo markers color in the flower stamp and stamp on the 2 pieces of whisper white, re-inking in between.
When both are stamped adhere to the front of the card
Tie with whisper white ribbon
And you are done
Now go and send it off to someone who has been looking forward to spring as much as you.

Elegant Easter Egg

Elegant Easter Egg that you can use to decorate your home or give as a beautiful gift.


Materials needed:
Flour and water
Designer series paper
Skinny ribbon
Pink pirouette 1 1/4 inch ribbon
Spiral flower die
Blushing bride card stock
Gumball green card stock
Alcohol in spritzer bottle
Thick glue
Big shot
Spritzer filled with alcohol and illuminate re-inker

Blow up the balloon to desired size
In a bowl mix up equal parts flour and water and mix well
With your trimmer cut up strips of DSP about 1/8 of an inch.
Draw an oval on the balloon with a sharpie this will be the opening
Dip paper in the flour water mixture and layer over balloon until the whole balloon is covered.
Let dry
When dry. If you have big holes or week spots cover with paper and the mixture again.
When dry again pop the balloon and take it out.
If there are any paper sticking out from the opening trim them.
Glue on skinny ribbon to the top
Glue lace around the oval opening
Tie the 1 1/4 inch ribbon around the skinny ribbon
Die cut 4 of the spiral flower dies out of blushing bride
Cut off the 3, 4 or 5 inner bubbles of the die
Spritze with alcohol and scrunch up
Un-crunch and roll up
Glue the end and let dry
Cut out 2 leaves for each flower and glue to the flowers
Let dry
When dry spray with spritzer filled with illuminate re-inker and alcohol
Let dry and attach to top of the egg
Cut gumball green card stock into 1/8 inch strips, crumple them up and place it in the egg.

Clipboard Chalkboard

This cute little chalkboard can be hung in any room to leave messages for each other.


This chalkboard is easy to make.
Materials needed:
Dollar store clipboard
Chalkboard paint
Stazon white ink
Stamp of your choice
Coffee filters
Flower punch
Mini spritzer filled with ink and alcohol
Gumball green card stock

Paint clipboard with chalkboard paint doing three layers and letting dry in between
When dry
Stamp the stamp of your choice in stazon iwhite nk on chalkboard
Fold 3 coffee filters in half then punch out with flower punch
Staple the middle of the flowers.
Pull together fluffing up each flowers separately
Un-fluff the flower making it form a beautiful fluffy flower
Stay with mini spritzer and let dry
Cut out 2 leaves and attach to bottom of the flower
Attach the flower to the clip board
You are done

Busy Weekend

Wow! I had a great but busy weekend. Saturday I held my first ever Scrapbooking Bingo and it was fun. I had 3 ladies and they got lots done n their albums and got lots of goodies too. Join us next month for more fun get togethers. (Here are a few pictures of my tables before the ladies arrived and my best friend Sue).

Mouse card

You make me happy card is a great cheer me up card for anyone you may know who is down in the dumps.


Materials needed:
Big shot
Circle thinlet dies
So saffron card stock cut 8.5 x 5.5
Whisper white card stock cut 5.25 x 4
Scraps of whisper white, melon mambo, blushing bride card stock
Gray card stock
Basic gray ink pad
Sponge dabber
1 inch circle punch
Large oval Punch
Extra-large oval Punch
1 3/4 inch circle punch
1 inch circle punch
Half inch circle punch
Hole puncher
3/4 inch circle punch
Decorative label punch
Snail adhesive
Basic black marker
White marker
Happy watercolors stamps set

Fold so saffron card stock in half to form base of card
Take the 3 smallest circlet framlets, put them inside the card with blades facing up.
Make a sandwich with your plates and run through the big shot.
Move the framlets and repeat.
Adhere piece of whisper white to inside of card.
Now to build the mouse:
For all pieces ink up all the edges in basic gray with a sponge dabber.
Punch out large Oval and 1 3/4 inch circle out of grey card stock
Adhere the circle to the top of the oval.
Add two large ovals at bottom of extra-large oval for his feet.
And 3/4 inch pink circles to 1 inch gray circles
Add to the 1 3/4 inch circle to form his ears
Punch out the decorative label punch in color of choice
Stamp the “you make me happy” stamp on top of the decorative label punch and add to the mouses body.
Punch out two 1 inch circles out of gray card stock
Cut them out o look like hands and put them above the sign as if he or she were holding it.
For his eyes punch out 2 -1/2inch circles out of whisper white card stock
With black card stock punch out two circles with the hole puncher
Adhere black circle to White circle
Punch out 1 grey 1/2 inch circle,, cut in half and adhere over the black and white circle.
Adhere to mouses face
Punch out one gray small oval and cuts to form his nose
Adhere to his/her face
Punch out 1/2 inch circle from melon mambo, trim to make his nose.
Add to his snout with 1/2 a dimensional.
And eyelashes, a white fleck to his nose and eyes.
Add slashes to make him have fingers and toes
Adhere to the card.
